RX7 Specialties FC Cold Air Intake - Click HERE for Original Thread

ozzmodan
Is anyone in Edmonton running the cold air intake that RX7 specialities makes?

I'd like to make something kind of similar, rather than pay $500 to get it.

Kyle

rhd rx7
thats true that intake is very expensive.is there any other options for intakes.i have a hks fillter already

REFLUX
Can you provide a link to it?
I have a hard time believing that ANYONE could justify $500 for a CAI.

What is it made of Gold or Titanium?

Here's the link to buy one:

Wookey
looks pretty crappy to me. The welds on the intake elbow look like crap also. I could make that for under $50 garunteed.

AHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH
That's IT!?
Just a damn elbow & a shiny box???

And yeah, like Chad said....those welds look pretty bad
I couldn't do any better but for a "supposed" pro-shop selling a $500 product, I'd expect only the best.

Check out this very similar product, used by many people....$60USD

Thanks Reflux, that's exactly what I'm looking for & at that price it's not even worth my time it to fabricate (my aluminum welding skills suck)

FIVE HUNDRED DOLLERS! booooooo

I'm sure they did. There are a LOT of people out there with more money than brains. Besides, if someone's actually DID buy one, they DESERVE to get laughed at!
