soo it looks like my 7 is definetly a write off considering it has about $6800 worth of damage......
(some chick made a left turn infront of me as i was entering an intersection cause she didnt see me, and i didnt have time too avoid and took out my front end...)
i am goin to be buying mine back to part out prob. ... but i am now in the looks for another rx7...
(prob not goin to get too much in a write off but i will have to make do)
so i was looking in the autotrader and saw this 88 T-2 for sale in Calgary...

just thought i would would ask... the T-2 says to have 212,000 on it and well maintained... how long do turbo engines usually last??? how much would you guys pay for this car with that many kms??? and also generally how much does it cost to get a turbo 13B rebuilt????

i was wondering if anyones got an rx7 they want to sell??? i am preferably looking for another gxl.... and also prefer white like mine but doesnt matter |

I think the 6500 is a lil too much for that car but thats just me. 212,000kms on it is kinda high. I had 232,xxx kms on my old motor and i decided to rebuild, but it was a good thing cause it was almost toast.
A rebuild usually goes anywhere from around 2300 i think and up. it all depends if you can reuse the rotor housings, if you want street port, whats apex seals you want. |

i havent post it yet...im about 75% sure tht i will sell so here it is..its 89 na gx with no sunroof...or those boxes in the back..very light from the the factory...its noble white.and its has over 160kms on the body and less then 10000kms in the rebuild..im the 3rd owner of this car,,,no rust any where...17 rims with new tires and factory rims with winter tires...

| well I was just throwing out options... it doesnt really need to be gutted... you could throw in your interior because its black isnt it, and it would look good I even have the back seat which you could get redone to match. And really the only part that attention is the front suspension so thats not much work at all but hey its your call. |

Yeah the engine runs good.... havent started it up for about a month now though... the trannys is also fine I never had a problem with it. |

Im not sure the speedo says 185XXX but the speedo cable is broken so im not sure.... as for rust no there isnt any noticable rust on the car. |

| i've got a black '90 GXL that i might sell if you're interested. It has 264 K on the body, 134K on LSD and driveaxles, approx. 80 K on JDM turbo engine/5 Spd. trans. It has some surface rust on the rear quarters and 3rd brake light. It's not running yet since I'm currently making it into a turbo car from non-turbo. I can send you pics if interested. |
