| i'm planning to get a whole new catback system.. the WORKS... however i dun have a body kit or anything.. i drive a 2000 prelude.. i'm worried that once the install is done the exhaust tip might not look good on the car... it'll look like it doesn't belong (u know what i mean?) hmmm... would this problem happen or am i just being paranoid?? AHAH |

| What exhaust are you getting? My friend has a 2000 'Lude SH, and the Greddy EVO fits perfectly. |

| Get the bodykit first then...
Then decide what exhaust ot go with.
You'd be better off (and cheaper) to buy a muffler and have a custom cat back made here locally.
Did I mention it'd be cheaper?... |

| thanks turbo... hmmm i think now is too late for mods tho... should i just wait til spring? |
|
|
|
| I'd wait for spring, but since you drive that car all year round I don't think it would matter. Yes, a custom system made here would be alot cheaper than fabricated systems. If you really want the N1, just buy a universal N1 muffler(In my case 2 =)) and ask the shop to weld it on to your custom piping.
Are you getting headers too? |
|

| yeah i'm planning on getting intake/header/exhaust.. however i need the cash first.. that's why i was planning on postponing til next spring so i can just get it all in "one-shot" |

would that be a good idea?
to do it all in one shot?
what if you have engine problems & shit?
i mean i would do it all in one shot as well, but with so many mods @ one time there's more of a chance of a malfunction??
what's your take on it? |
|
|
| siopao |
| yeah i just remembered u telling me about that... hmm i dunno.. what do YOU guys think about it? |
|

| I don't see the problem in doing a header and muffler upgrade at the same time. They are both part of the exhaust system and you're doing this to a very new car so I don't see the problem, but don't take it from me, do research on your car and ask the muffler shop what they think. I know on my RX-7 it is written in stone to free up the exhaust first, which is simply header, piping(cats or no cats), and muffler right? Nothing to it |

what kind of problems will you have??
those are all bolt on parts, it's actually better to do everything at once, save some some money on labour. |
