What do you think am i Justified - Click HERE for Original Thread

K this is a rant I am so f'in confused about this "Punishment" i mean it makes no fucking sense to me and i have thought about it a million and 1 times and still can't see any fucking logic in it at all. here's the story.

I was driving home one night from a buddies house driving hard. now I am not saying i nvr cut someone off or anything i may have but i can't remember at all. anyways i was heading home and when i got there i got a cravingg for a slurpee. So i went to my neighbors house got him and left for the closest 7-11. Then on my way back home i get a call and its my dad and he is fucking PISSED right off like right off i thought that i had killed someone or something. Hes yelling at me and stuff get the F**** home and blah blah blah so i continued on my way home.
I get in the door and he’s yelling gimmie your keys gimmie your keys and shit so i do and he gives me a piece of paper and he’s like call this number now it’s a constable. Some cop called my house to talk to me when i was out and my dad picked up and got all pissed off. So i call the guy back and i am like yeah hi what do you need and the cops like yeah i just wanted to let you know we had a complaint about you speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.

I was like “are you serious? you just wanted to let me know this is there going to be any charges?”.
The cops like “no just wanted to let you know” and yeah drive nicer and stuff.

That was the jist of it. now every time i try and talk to him he’s bitching and just wont talk about the subject. I will let you all know that the car is rightfully mine i bought it with my money i worked on it bought all the parts for it with my money and did all the work on it with some help from my brother.
Now i have heard 2 different stories about why it was taken away and these all came from my dad

1st. cutting ppl off and giving them the finger

2nd. Being an ass ( its something else I cant remember tho)

I will let you know my dad isn't someone to sugar coat things and notice how none of his "reasons" match what the cop had told me SO now i am wondering its been a month now i finally got my car back but still with like strict rules only for school and work blah blah blah. But how is it that i have heard three different stories and my dad is justified in taking away my car from me when he did nothing to help me get it at all?

Now my Mother did pay my insurance as a birthday gift so she helped but she didn't get all pissy about it and wants me to have my car back!!

So am i just being a punk teenager or am I justified in what i think? I feel that I was an ass and that i have learned from my mistake and the cop was right in letting me know before I got tickets for driving like a dick.

Another thing my dads like you cant drive your car. But in that month that i had it taken away i drove my mothers car almost everyday and my sisters car and my bros car and basically all the cars i wanted to drive so how is it that the so called punishment that he is trying to get to me with is even a punishment anymore???

Its more of just a piss off for me cause when i am driving someone elses car wasting there gas and stuff i get angry because well its not my car and like i still can drive my car to school and work but suddenly my driving is perfect as soon as i step into another car or something. and he still won't talk about it and i haven’t ever heard him tell me Why he took it away he nvr told me I heard it through my brothers friend and my sister like its that fucked up i dont know let me know what you think please let me know if i am the only one on this or if i am just on crack guys like honestly now its just getting stupid i think cause i can still drive where i want to go in someone elses car and my mom has no problem lending me her car and i dont mind borrowing it it’s a 00 civic plain simple 5 speed fun to drive so i don’t know let me know what you Think!!!

Ok I know you were prbly pissed off when you wrote this but honestly man, not using paragraphs & poor punctuation isn't going to help others in reading about your issue.

I suggest you go back and separate your post into several paragraphs, read over what you wrote and put in some periods too.

Never really thought of this forum as a "parent-child" relationship forum but I guess it falls under the general "relationship" idea.

But yeah, organize up your post and people, along with myself, will come back with some constructive input.

Sry man i wrote it for EO first then copy pasted it and just quickly posted it without reading it over first. Its a first post that big and there wasn't a rant forum so i just kinda put it under the Avice column

If your driving like an ass, and your dad took your keys away... big deal, you probably deserved it.

He's just trying to get a point across, and probably concerned about your safety and insurance prices.

Just take it with a grain of salt and move on. No point stressing out about it. Its over, lesson learned.

It's called tough love, bitch! One day, you'll thank your old man and do the same shit to your kids.

Thank your lucky stars you didn't get in an accident or hurt somebody or get a ticket from the cops. Instead of feeling indignant, chalk it up to a learning experience, and thank your dad one day for teaching you something. Karma can be a bitch, but it can also be an opportunity to grow. You know those dangerous drivers that people really hate/are scared of seeing on the roads, especially in winter... well you are the one they're talking about. Grow up a little.

It might feel unreasonable to you, but let's take a look at the big picture. Your father received a call from the police about his teenage son driving erraditcally. The police don't get call when you're signalling your lane change and driving safely. I'm sure the story your father got from the police officer was different than the one you received.

The one thing you have to realize is that as long as you live under your parents roof, you have to respect their rules.

If they feel you were driving unreasonable you can comply with the wishes or move out.

good shit guys theres more to the story but your all right aside from GTS jeff. pffft i aint no bitch! ha well thanks for your inputs guys
