squeaking coming from wheels? - Click HERE for Original Thread

iMatt
whenever i am driving my moms car i hear a constant squeaking from either the fron or back wheel on the right hand side does anyone know what this could be or how to fix it

beatshack
either brakes or wheel bearing (most likely brakes).

if its brakes, the caliper is either seized or the pad is worn down to the squeeker (or both).

iMatt
that could be also whenever i brake it makes a louder squeaking how much do new brake pads run for

Pads are pretty cheap, but the rotors you're destroying by continuing to drive while the brakes are worn are going to cost a fair bit more. If you're lucky you'll still be able to have the rotors machined if you haven't already worn them beyond spec.

Get your brakes done ASAP.

as long as you dont feel a grinding vibration in the gas pedal you might still be ok with your rotors.

If its the same squeekin as mine had you need a new ball joint(s)
