| I was wondering the spray on bottle of photo radar blocker, if the cops know you have it on your car can you get your license plate taking off ? I know its illegal but how many people have ever got issued a ticket for it ? |

It is illegal to have anything on your plate that could obstruct vision of the plate.
I got threatened with a $55 ticket a while back for a clear protectant cover, could see through it no prob. It was designed for the fancy vanity plates.
Worst case scenario they can take your plate and impound your car, and make you get new plates. |

| i have the photo spray on my plate and there is no way to tell i have a film like that on my plate, so to the naked eye it's all good.:thumbup: I even have a plastic clear cover on my plate as well...you can't tell there is one on the car, so i've never been pulled over for that either...but if you do get pulled over for a plate cover/they know you have a protective film on the plate they may take the cover and as for the spray they might do what SilverNeonRacer mentioned above. |

when i sprayed photo fog on my plate, i kinda noticed it upclose, but i doubt any cops actually going to take a very close look at it unless he has a good reason. and it shouldnt make a difference if you put that stuff on the plate anyways cause we can get our plates covered up with dirty and such, we cant controll that(unless we wash our plates off everytime we drive) |

Buddy, I have been driving for over 10 years. That may not be a long time for some people.
But in those 10 years I have never got a speeding ticket. Why ??!!?? Hmmm .... let me think ... ummm .... maybe because I follow the speed limit?
Damn !!! I laugh at all the fools who waste money on that spray stuff, covers and radar detectors. Thinking oh this will pay for it self if it saves me from a ticket. Ha ha ha ha........wrong it will cost you more if you are caught with some of those items.
Simple advice just follow the speed limit and you will be fine, it is not that hard. |

I used to have a radar detector, my sister gave it to me. I dunno how many tickets I got with that damn thing. It got stolen from my truck, and I started to open my eyes and watch for radar, got wayy less tickets. Now, yeah, I rarely go fast enough to get a ticket. Las ticket I got was BS, I shoulda fought it but I lost the damn ticket, I thought I left it in my glove box. I had my cruise on, at about 63-68ish, best I could get it on a 20yr old car, in a 60 zone cause i knew photo likes to be there, and i got buzzed by a S10, and the cop in a cruiser pulled me over, said I was doing 81, and was gaining onthe truck.
Heh back when I was young and living in the city.. I'm pretty sure I paid for one of those radar vans with all the photos I got. |
