| Is it normal the clutch on an 01 cavalier to make chattering noises? One cavalier a test drove made the same noise and my buddy has a cousin who owns a cavalier and it make the same noise. I'm scared. |

the problem is the fact that the car is produced by an american company

| I drove a 2002 Sunfire GT the other day at work, and it had a chattering clutch. I would assume this to be the release bearing, which is essentially a quick fix once the transmission is off. |

BAHAHA
but in all honesty if it has a 2.2L the clutch like to go every 80,000 kms or so at best. I sell at least one to a GM dealer every day. |

| I called GM they told me it is the clutch actuator pipe, there was a service bulletin for the problem. I think the same thing about yankee cars. This car was such a good deal that I couldn't say no. If I would of had more time and money I would of been looking to buy either a 1998 talon or a Integra GS-R. |
