| if you want to fight it, then go in any time before or on the date, and plead not guilty and set a trial date, if you just want it lowered, just go in on or before the date, talk to the justice of peace (make sure you got a good reason why he should lower it) and do it that way, all this is when you walk into the court house, where you pay tickets. |

The guy you see before hand is called a First apperance prosecutor. Call down to the courthouse and make sure they have your ticket (the cop needs to hand it in) and then you can go talk to him.
As for having a good reason, it depends on the day. Last time I went and seen him he didnt want to hear anything. I walked in handed him my ticket and started to talk. He interrupted me and said this is what I can do take it or leave it.
So I took it. He wasnt very pleasant at all. |

| pleding not guilty is not the way to go just go in early on the date of your trail and talk to the crown and cut a deal they usually are pretty good about it. |

Mostly me being a ass, and thinking that usually if you get a ticket on the henday with a bunch of other guys from this message board it likely means one thing. But I bet that shit was orchestrated and there were cops everywhere right ? |

we wern't racing, we were on a cruise,
we were going from west edmonton mall, to the 94 octane gas station as alot of the cars require 91 to 94
and then we went to tim hortons in riverbend, and anthony henday just opened and we decided to take that way to check out the new road
we wouldn't be stupid and race out there, umm new hwy, of course there are cops, and also the night before my buddy jays bro smoked a deer and totaled a car, luckley he was okay |

yeha dont go in a plead not guilty... just get it deducted. cuz if you plead not guilty then you are found guilty you get more demarits.
i dunno if this is true or not but i have been told this... if you pay double the ticket price you dont get any demerits!! |

Enlarged exhaust and tint tickets.
When I asked the cop why he wasn't giving us tickets for street racing since he "recieved reports of people racing down the highway" from one of the roadside home owners no doubt, he said because he didn't have proof.
I found that odd because they obviously had reason enough to pull us over, why waste my time with petty shit tickets I am going to beat in court? The money...
Nonetheless, if you modify your exhaust and tint your windows, you're asking for it. So my exhaust is going to changed to a straight in and out muffler with no tip as well as removing the tint from the front windows. Its not worth the hassle in my assumption of things and the Crown Prosecutor doesn't want to hear your excuses, because "I've heard it all, son"
If I had a dime for all these cheesy replies, I would be a rich man! |
