Looking for uberdata tuner - Click HERE for Original Thread

95IntegraRS
I am looking for some one to chip my ecu and do dyno tuning on my turbo integra.:drama:

Turbo_Civic92
matt thought u were going hondata??

Kirill
What version of uberdata are you gonna be running?

i'm planning on running it also on my girlfriends teg, been playing with the program itself, seem pretty straight forward, alot like hondata.

I'm sure you can tune it pretty good yourself just take time to learn it.

DelSoln
Perhaps you could get that tuner that craxyrx7 is bringing up from the states to do it.

Xcessive
Cooper came in and did some tuning at our shop.

I have all the software and burners.... do you have a Wideband yet.... i'd willing to lend mine out.

Its a PLX R500 w/EGT, WB and full datalogging.

Let me know.

Alright sounds good Josh, I will come down and talk to you more about it once I get everything installed.

seems better to me

95IntegraRS
Yeah, I think I am going to try my hand at tuning both. Seems easy enough. I just took a crash course from my tuner.

i'm gettin no crash course....im just goin for it straight out...i've created a basemap so far with uberdata 1.7...looks good to me but im no professional...i can pretty much guarantee i'll be paying kirill to do it for me

95IntegraRS
Hah, well, I am going to tune my friends 92 Honda Civic which is running a T25 turbo first. Then I will tune my own car with it. I'll tell you how it goes, but it should be simple.

tell me how that works out for sure! im running a 14b on a 92 civic...did he do a b-series swap or is he still d? whats he running for injectors?

95IntegraRS
I believe he is going to be running 310 cc injectors and he is still using the D series. I am going to try to tune it on the 450cc DSMs he has installed first.

which d series? im on a y8...i'll be using dsm 450s also. pretty much the exact same set up. if you tell me hes also using an srt-4 front mount and leaving the stock fuel pump for now im stealing the chip :D

95IntegraRS
I think he is using the stock fuel pump and I am unsure about the intercooler. But if you would like me to make an attempt on your car after I have tuned my friends' ride, I would be glad to do so. We'll just see how it works out first.

95IntegraRS
Give me lots of practice for when I tune my own beast.

droppedatbirth
i'll let you know...i still have to collect a couple misc things...not exactly sure if i wanna install it till spring though

95IntegraRS
Yea, until the roads are completely dry, I won't be taking mine out for tuning.

I was going to... but I can't justify the cost for something that is essentially the same as Uberdata but is going to cost me nearly 400 dollars more.

Praylewd powr
I have tuned both and I can honestly say that uberdata is NOT the same as hondata. The hondata interface is much easier to use and tuning seems that much faster due to that alone. But both can achieve decent results. Just ensure you know what you are doing in terms of timing and boost transitions, AFR transitions into boost, etc....and dyno tuning.

Good luck.

Chrom man, trust me. Talk to MattEG. He has experiance tuning on it and its far better then uberdata from what I understand.

Turbo_Civic92
yet again matt yur my trail and error buddy lol if uberdata works ok i might just go with that this year but does it have boost control like hondata or would i have to buy a electronic boost controller??

chu77
I'm installing my turbo this spring too, heard that fullblown tunes uberdata.

Good luck!!

mattEG
I can promise you that if you're going with a chipped p28 you will like CHROME way more than Uberdata. Check out pgmfi.org. Uber is far too buggy, chrome is fantastic.

If you have questions or need someone to chip your ECU, PM me.

95IntegraRS
I am using the P72 ECU MattEG, would you still recommend using Crome with this ECU?

Also, I would be very much appreciative if you could do the chip intall onto my ECU. If you could drop me a PM and leave me your number or some form of contact information, I would like very much to sit down and have a chat with you about the two programs and any tuning advice you would have for me

Just let me know.
