i know mike has made a thread like this and some ppl have said what they are doing but just wonder what ppl have done or have spend money on for there car
for me i said i was going to do nothin and now i am doing so much
i am doing a jdm h22 engine and tranny swap and speedtech is doing
have a new 6 puck racing clutch and 10 lb chromoly steel flywheel
putting in a new balljoint on the right side
new powerslot slotted rotors and ceramic rear pads
and getting a rear sturt bar and rear sway bar from a vpc member
in total i will be spending around 5500 this year and first off i said i was going to do nothin so hope to see all your rides this coming summer |

I've spent way too much money already and I'm not done yet...
To be brief:
- auto -> 5spd tranny swap
* new clutch, flywheel, quaife lsd, pspec short shifter, manual gauge cluster, P72 ecu, obd1 conversion harness, hondata s200
- new rotors
- new calipers
- new rims
- new tires
- steering wheel w/ quick release hub
Something I'd like to get but probably won't be able to is a gemini cf hood. There is a world wide shortage of CF so I doubt I will be getting this before the year 2007.
The only thing that I have done is gotten my tranny inspected, rebuilt and quaife lsd installed. I still have to install that pesky harness bar which I've been putting off which seems like for ever... |

Did you get the swap done yet matt?
As for me, finish my fiberglass trunk set up
Get my sides re-painted
get the rear bumper re moulded
Pick up my engine for the swap
Get Tein Flex suspension
Skunk2 IM w/ hondata gasket
get rsr exhaust
new screen.
I've been working my ass off working stupud hours, but it'll all be worth it when i start installing everything. Theres a few more things im working on too. |

hoping for rims/lowered before summer hits. maybe a front lip. also going to get a new exhaust. mine is staring to piss me off. |

Picked up a new lude.
so far my realistic plans are Koni Yellows, i will have a high boost pulley on before the season starts, hopefully a CF hood but i havent decided 100% on one, i am in the midst of getting a set of nice wheels... i have alot more plans for summer if i manage to keep this car longer then i normally do..and these plans include getting back everything that darcy raped and pillaged from my car haha. (i dunno if hes got ALL of these but i want my spoon calipers back, slotted rotors, jdm type s valve cover, mugen header and i think in terms of exhaust instead of the mugen exhaust im going to go with an RSR if i in fact change the exhaust at all) And that should be it for me this year unless i win the lottery..then id probly dump a good 40 or 50 thousand more into it and then id spend a good million or two on some other good cars =D |

Ya, I bought the spoon calipers, brembo slotted rotors (cad plated), excedy clutch and fidanza flywheel from Richard... It was a deal I couldn't refuse...
I still haven't decided on rims & tires yet. I'm thinking the Mugen mz3x rims and falken azenis RT-615's... It be a nice street combo and keep my current set-up for the track... |

Boosting and purchased a new winter beater.
Bought myself a shitty D50 pickup for 500 dollars. It has 90,000KM. Pretty mint.
And I have my turbo kit assembled, just waiting to install it and tune it for the summer.
The turbo kit consists of:
T3/T4 .50 trim Garrett turbo
JRC 12" intercooler
2" intercooler piping
Equal length manifold with external Tial wastegate (5.5 psi spring)
2.5" downpipe and 1" dumptube for wastegate
550cc RC Injectors
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
Stainless oil feed/return
P72 chipped w/ Uberdata (tuned by myself - using a street tune until we book a club dyno day where I can fine tune the timing for more power)
Autometer Boost and Oil Pressure gauges
I have more planned... I am going to be building a block to handle higher boost levels and more horsepower over the course of the summer. But for now, thats the newest development.

i bought it straight from spoon.. my dad is their top engineer.. im also having NASA (my step dad owns it) design a jet propulsion system.. im hoping to get into the 0.5s this summer on the 1/4 |
