| What's involved in getting a car that's been pegged as a write off back on the roads. What inspections does it have to go through in order for it to be street legal. Plus if you know if insurance will take a hit too? I was recently involved in an MVC and the car only has cosmetic damage to it. I want to repair it and get it back on the road just because so much money went into it already. |

Check out the Alberta Transportation Website as it sets out what needs to be done to get a vehicle back on the road. Please recognize that there are two different types of written off vehicles: "salvage" and "non-repairable" ... makes a world of difference when deciding to fix something.
