no hood? - Click HERE for Original Thread

fuzzybeaner
is it illegal to drive without a hood? i see a truck that is droven by a pizza delivery boy all the time with no hood, my friend has a civic that for the next few days will have no hood until the cf one comes but still has to be driven. just wondering if this is illegal?

I think as long as there is nothing loose under the hood you can get away with it. Does he not have the stock hood he can use?

I dunno why you would drive a car without a hood, I'd be paranoid about people stealin or trashing stuff.

Off topic, but out east people are having problems with people popping hood, via the latch inside the car, and stealing head lights, or cai filters, fuses... really messed up shit.

as far as illegal.. umm shoot.. I habe to think.. there was a thread on this.. trying to remember it it was here.. or on another board...

Cliff's notes: If your washer sprayers aren't int he hood, but on the wiper cowel your good, if they're in the hood, it's illegal.

that makes no sense lol

Fish_e_o
as long as you can still spray your windshield it's legal
is what i think he's saying..

but i would expect to get hassled either way..
