if you were to dye your seatbelts, i would keep 2 things in mind:
1) use a very "natural" dye, don't want to mess with the integrity of your belts (no ammonia/acidic stuff)
2) if you plan on removing the entire seatbelt itself & doing it, as opposed to pulling it out & dying it while still attached to the car, make sure you put it back CORRECTLY
it sounds like a pretty sweet idea, but the safety mechanisms of my car is something I'm not touching :D |

Heres one thing to think about, If you dye the belts it could possibly wear off onto your clothes / jacket when you put it on. Its like when you buy brand new jeans, they usually reccomend you washing them before you use them cause the blue dye can rub off onto stuff.. Just a thought!

Maybe just get those seatbelt pads in a color you like?
Or get the generic Canadian Tire seatbelt pads and dye those?

| i sweared to myself i wouldnt put seatbelt pads in my car, it is pretty much brand new and my bros belts gone a little worn right where the seat belt pads sit, i wanna do something different |
