what are the key differences between the 4th gen SR and SRV ludes?? SRV is a v-tech am i right? is it a completely different engine?? if so what engines are in them?? also how much power does the sr and srv come stock with????
and also i heard that the 4th gens have an ugly looking dash... is this true?? (i have never actually seen the interior of a 4th gen)
does anyone have any pictures of there interior???
and also in your opinion, what is the sharpest looking color on the 4th gens??? (stock paint)

SRV has the H22A1 engine which produces 190hp. and yes it is v-tec.
the SR preludes came with the H23 non-v-tec producing 160hp.
minor differences between the two are different rims, leather, etc.

dash goes across the whole car for the warning lights/clock/gas and temp gauges.
personally i love the dash. |

95' SR-V (Si) - H23 non-vtec 2.3L 160hp/156 ftlb
95' (SE) - H23 non-vtec 2.3L 160hp/156 ftlb
95' SR-V VTEC (VTEC)- H22A1 vtec 2.2L 190hp/158 ftlb

thanks for the pic and the help you guys...
just a couple more questions...
do you know what year they started making 4th gen. SRV V-tech trim ludes in Japan????
cause i am thinking about bringing one of the early 4th gens up from japan and would liek to know if they had the SRV in the 92 models...
also do you guys know if there were any major differences between the usdm and the jdm 4th gens???? |

| to the best of my knowledge i would have to say the engine...jdm's always have more power there, or at least i sure they do!..but if they did have the vtec int he 92 i would probablly have 200+hp in stead of the 190hp becuase there, they probablly have the type-r version??? |

Partially correct. 4ws came in the sr, not just the srv. S. Model came with an F22. not h22. Its a SOHC. There is only an S SR and SRV. No SE. Some of it isa just messed up with what you put. Sr. comes with the H23 ever year, the S comes with the F22 every year, and the SRV came with the h22.
Differences between the years are the center consoles, turn signals. and a few other minor things. and the gauge cluster. 94-96 have the nicent interiors. |

Yup, SR-V is the way to go, when I was buying mine 3 years ago thats what I was told and I havent' looked back since.
I've got a 94 SR-V, Red, all leasther options etc..., only mods are cold air intake and the exaust (custom mandrel bent 2.5 from the Cat back to a magnaflow muffler)
I'm beginning to ponder selling it around spring summer time, just FYI if you may be interested... |
