quote: "Lots of [Anne McLellan] supporters are enumerated at their downtown office address instead of at their houses. One of them was bragging about how many times he could vote liberal (sic) based on the number of leases he had in her riding."
It is getting close to the end of the federal election campaign and the rhetoric is getting dialed up on both sides. I just spotted something that relates to our local Liberal poster girl & deputy PM, "Landslide" Anne McLellan (so named because of her squeaking to victory by a handful of votes in the last two elections).
It appears that "Landslide" Anne had a little help. You will likely be reading this in the paper tomorrow: accusations of massive voter fraud in her Edmonton Centre riding. I am not really thrilled by this in spite of my disgust in the present Liberal regime. Most people like and respect Anne in spite of her party affiliation.
Here is a blog report from smalldeadanimals.com. Liberal supporters bragging about multiple voter registrations enabling them to vote early (some have already voted once in advance polls) and vote often.
Massive votor registration fraud accused in Edmonton Centre.
I personally think that Anne is not likely involved, but I do hope that the people who register falesly for ANY party get caught and prosecuted.
Don't forget to vote Monday, but only once. |

| That would suck ass if true. And if true there should be jail time. |

| Hopefully this isn't true. I don't want to see our electoral system become a joke like in the US. Despite the obvious flaws in the rep by pop system, it has been pretty reliable in the past. |

Please vote.
I don't care for who, but 'young' voters turn out less and less every year. If young people only realized what power they hold in their votes.
(Older voters are decreasing every year, and young eligible voters are increasing. The only problem is new voter turn out is worse every year!).
That means more power is in the hands of fewer, older people! Do you really want that? |
