Lets keep this club alive..........

whats your plans for 2006?

for me:
turbo in spring
modding a 2dr skirt to my 4dr
shaving the side mods

newaccorddriver
currently piecing together a turbo kit for my car. got the b16 intake manifold already, already drilled holes in it, just need to find the remains for it(ie screws fast idle valve and such).

also plan to go OBD1 if possible before i go turbo

and the most hilarious thing every(considering my cars worth close to nothing still), DIY painting. i plan to paint my entire car on my own in my garage.

asides from that, my 5 speed swap is done, just need to put a few pieces back together.

Good luck on ur project, it'll look great when it's done!

Lol, how are u going to do the diy paint job??? are u planning on using spray cans from canadian tires? ( I did that to my body kit lol)

newaccorddriver
get a sanding disc from canadian tire and sand one part at a time

ill probably use a spray gun and paint one body part at a time so itll look half decent. using spray cans is kinda well... ghetto, so spray gun is the way to go. or i might just be lazy and paint over my old paint:lol:

I have all kinds of body tools but they are air you can use if you want. As for me I have big plans the wifey just said she doesnt mind if I spend another 5k on the car so here comes one mean bottem end can we say 400+whp if I have the time now before the season opens. I'm gonna start to order parts this week.

newaccorddriver
currently all my plans are put on a halt due to me quitting my job.

chances are i can do the OBD1 conversion easily if i can find a second D series distributor for cheap cause all i really need to buy is an ECU and conversion harness. its as simple as cutting off all the legs on one distributor and making mounting points and mounts for the second one i havent cut up.

the painting thing would only be a novice job, but that doesnt matter too much to me, but i should probably sand and bondo up the rust area first.

are you keeping the A series engine or did you manage to get ahold of the B series mounts/axles cause i dont think an A series engine can handle 400+whp. good luck on it though, im still eager to see what your accord looks like:thumbup: .

as for me, im considering going turbo after i can get the OBD1 thing to work in my car, or if i can somehow figure out how im going to manage everything. sadly none of this is going to happen until i find a job as an apprentice(i left my last job because it led me nowhere at all)

Just picked up a set of 4 Tokico HPs from JBs. They were on sale for less than the cheapest on-line sources. Will likely wait until the summer tires go on to do the install. Thanks, Ralph!

i wasnt even aware they made those things for our engine...

do you by any chance know of a place that can rebuild my engine for relatively cheap? time isnt really a concern as long as they dont do half ass jobs. id do it myself, but i dont have the tools, space or equipment for this kind of task
