a couple nights ago me and my friends are comin into morinville around 1:30 in the morning, and we meet a cop, he flashes his lights so my buddy looks and sees his dims are on so we keep driving, then he flashes them again, we keep driving (not speeding) after we drive by he stops and turns around and starts following us, soon he pulls us over and starts arguin about the brights being on, we show him he was mistaken, then he says fog lights are illegal, we say there factory, he says there illegal anyway and they must b removed then gets in his car and drives off squelling his tires. They can't be illegal if there stock can they?
this is on a 89 grand prix so there not like super whites or anything, |

i don't know about most cars, but in my car the fogs turn off when you switch to highs.
wouldn't that defeat the purpose? fog lights are like high beams, they're for the shit far ahead, while you still have your low for the shit right in front of you.
could some of the fuzz weigh in on this??? |

canada it is ILLEGAL too.....fogs go off when you go to high beam......fogs are more for a wide low lighting...into ditches and low not to blind you when going through fog, snow etc. thats why you dont put your highs on when its real foggy or snowing heavily....can you say blind??
