I dunno, for me it's hard to enjoy the music when parts are falling off my car because of the bass.
But what I'd love to see is someone hook that up to an alarm, and get the video of the theif bleeding out the ears. |

oh btw, suposidly aboue 120db can make your ears bleed..I think it's bs
120db will not make your ears bleed, that's ridiculous. And with so much bullshit flying around with kids thinking their two Type S 10" sealed subs will hit 145 on a TL and whatever else, take what people say on the internet in stride. You can sit in Scottie Johnson's 169db van and your ears don't bleed. Or you can sit in Nate Munson's Civic and your ears won't bleed. It's not exactly smart to do without hearing protection, and it feels weird. Keep in mind that 60hz @ 160db is significantly different than 35hz @ 160. |

I think it's actually at 120db you cause permenent hearing damage.
I hit 145.5db with 2 10" mtx at 29Hz, in an outlaw...
In an IASSC(or whatever) speced comp I hit 142.8db with the same 2 10" at 42Hz. or was it 47Hz.... |

Hearing damage is also dependant on the duration you're exposed to the sound. So anything over 100-110db can be damaging if listened to for long enough.
145 in Outlaw isn't far fetched, especially if it was done in this province. We have relatively loose AC/TL mics, depending on the organization and where it's being put on. For the most part, in this provice it's DB Drag, IDbl and non-sanctioned events with next to no rules, which, imho, are a joke just for show inorder to sell more crappy products. |
