Probably the best spring to get if your rollin on stock struts and are on a budget

is that true Darcy??? i got a set of these with next to new stock struts and i dont know if im gunna have the money for the struts until later in the summer..

Like I said, if your on a budget...

The H&R Sport & Koni Yellows have been the choice for most people.

If you want to spend a little more, go Tein...

I’m sorry but I really didn’t understand that aha, you probably had a blank spot or something, but can you re-write that???lol

night_font
also ..why are you selling them???and whats the drop on them..ill give you 160

whitebb6
H&R claims the drop is 1.4" all around. but i find they are closer to 1.8" or so. but then again the drop is pretty subjective to your own car.

my question was..

if i wanted to lower my car.. what would i have to buy..

ie) -just springs..
-i hear some people saying struts as well as springs??

im under the impression that you just have to buy springs..but im not 100% sure because of some stuff i've heard..

thanks.

If you want to just lower your car, you don't have to buy anything. Just cut your springs.

If you want to do it the right way, buy lowering springs. They should be fine on stock struts, for awhile anyways...

The next step would be to get a good spring/strut combo like I said previously, H&R sport and Koni Yellows.

The best choice IMO would be coilovers. Tein is the best bang for the buck...

awesome  glad u like em

redwall177
haha should have had them in on friday haha then atleast you could have beaten my burning oil h23 alittle more hahahahahahahaha

Drachir
Tein is decent stuff. But I think 99% of people wouldn't even use all the available settings.

I think Ground Controls + Koni Yellow is best bang for your buck. But if you're not raising and lowering your car all the time, a good set of lowering springs and some decent struts (stock or aftermarket) will be more than enough.

night_font
no i got help from one of the members on here....and yeah matt i guess you could say that but either way i beat you ..hahahahhahaa burn on you. you and ur slow h23 haha

redwall177
ben i will race you but not in the lude but in my new car

92_WhItE_H23
sounds good! may 12 is the first bud day i think

2ndgenlude
that would be a good race.
if ben can pull a high 13 out of his ass he might have you. i think stock GTO's run like a flat 14.
not entirely sure though. i don't know what mods your new car has either matt.

92_WhItE_H23
the 13 was with full interior, stereo and rims i do believe...im not sure if ill hit quite that probly high 13s. i wont have a few of the parts that were on the car when it ran that.
