Question about JDM 300ZX TT and Cruise Control - Click HERE for Original Thread

EK9Hatch
Hey guys, I have noticed that a lot of the JDM 300's do not have cruise control on them. I seen tons of USDM's with Cruise and was wondering if it would be a big mod to install Cruise on a 300ZX TT that did not come with Cruise?

Any help would be great, Thanks guys.

I am not sure, but I suspect for cruise control, you will need to get all JDM parts... The controls for cruise control are on the steering wheel on a stock Z32. I have noticed that a lot of the JDM cars have after market steering wheels.

So really, the car might have cruise, but because the steering wheel has been changed, the controls are missing.

Thanks for the info. I find it strange, but its true...not a lot of JDM 300's came with cruise, compared to USDM models anyways. But I suppose it makes sense, look at the size and population of Japan. Cruise would not be a very practical option over there.

I just was wondering how hard it would be to convert a non-cruise equipped JDM 300ZX, to one with cruise.
