of the 2, i would have to say that the south side gets the better places. |

REALLY! they are everywhere . 118th umm my the moxies at kingsway , 127th there are 3 in st.a alone , so many mc dees and on all of thos roads there are at least 2-3 7-11's |

| the way i see it, most of the times i go out at night, id end up having to drive all the way to the south just to do anything. the north has the metro while the south has showgirls and diamonds. its kinda unfair...:lol: |

| The best shops and restaurants are typically closest to the pricier areas of town. SW is the most expensive area in Edmonton to live and the best shopping IMO is west end, southside and downtown. SE, NE and N are horrible. |

Downtown is the best for restaurants.
So, since you've split the city into two, if you're using the river to seperate them, then the north side wins. |

the river splits them, and im not just counting the restaurants, im counting shops as well as bars and such |

Restaurants - downtown, hands down.
Shops - depends what you're looking for. I find South Edmonton Common to be the most retarded place in the world for traffic. I can tend to find whatever I want in the North side....As well, downtown and Whyte both have nice shops that aren't found on the other side of the river.
Bars - Whyte ave obviously. I can see some people liking some of the downtown ones that are more yuppie-ish though. |
