Try for a girl at work... - Click HERE for Original Thread

95EagleAWD
Alright... I bow to the 780 wisdom on girlies here.

Total cutie at work now... she's nice, good-lookin', not insane, my age, doesn't drink or party... but I work with her...

It's not that I don't have the balls to ask her out, that's fucking easy... it's the whole work thing. I'm fulltime, she's only part-time, there maybe one or two days a week.

Worth it?

2003specv
Hell yeah worth it. I used to have the receptionist at a place I worked at as a fuck friend. Twas a good time and never got wierd.

bluecargirl666
the only way i can see it getting wierd is if you are her/boss supervisor and have to give her orders or are expected to evaluate her performance. and of course vice/versa.

Otherwise its not like you're both there full time so it wouldnt be every living second with her.
Go for it

SketchifisT
Since it invovles work be classy, start off easy and just work into it. Dont get too pushy and force anything just incase she doesn't want too and now you have an edgy work relationship.

Its totally worth it, just be a gentleman and go from there. Worst thing that can happen is she says no , and you joke about it... Or sexual harrasment but really who cares ;)

95EagleAWD
Not her boss.

Pretty much as I figured here... I'll post it turns out, I guess.

Soulfly
good luck!!

Kenshin

Don't over think....... just do it.

You over think......you miss out.

Wouldn't want to lose your job over a girl! :D

HIT IT ON THE COPIER!

ChromeDragon
You only need three things. Mood lighting, copier room and a box of toner cartridges.

I'm sure you can figure out the rest.:drama:

Don't shit where you eat. If this is a career job, forget it. :)

Billy
It's not worth it. Been there, done that. It'll be great for awhile, then all the shit gets taken to work. The biggest thing you need to do in life is keep family and work separate. (Family = anything not work related)

Not always totally true. My bf works for Nortel and basically all the guys in his office met and married their wives there. Although most of the wives don't work there anymore so they are able to keep home and work life separate.

But, that was 10 years ago or so and now Nortel has a 'no work relationships' policy and they have fired people for it.

It'd probably depend on how much you really want this girl...

midnite
if this job is part of your career path, i don't think you should be dipping your pen in the company ink..

Like he said.

Don't pitter patter, if your boss asks you, come clean and don't lie.

95EagleAWD
There's no workplace policy, this isn't a career job, it's a stepping stone and she seems pretty cool.

Might as well give 'er... see what happens.

Been there... done that... she's now my wife. ;)

This is the exact situation your NSX can come in handy.

You just have to casually trick her into coming down to the garage, BAM you're set.

Tech2
Just what I was thinking.
