Advice on Cell phone plan options? - Click HERE for Original Thread

cparkq
Hey guys,
Im in a situation where my old Rogers Contract has expired, and i definately need a new plan as im getting raped from my current one (100 daytime, unlimited evenings/weekends, caller id for 40$). Id sign up for that new $15/month package in a heartbeat if it werent for the 3 year contract obligation. The problem is i dont know how much longer ill be in town for with school and all, so does anyone have any ideas on what my options are here.

I was thinking i could possibly buy someones contract (which has a better plan than mine, and isnt tied up for like over a year), or does anyone have a better idea? The 100 daytime minutes on my current plan are killing me!

Thanks in advance guys

You could of signed up on the plan and paid 200 dollars to quit when you wanted to.

Well since you're done your contract you are free to switch plans as you wish.

Just because you're switching plans does not mean you have to sign a 3yr contract.

At least that's how I think it goes.

I'm done my Fido contract and have switched plans 3 times since then
:dunno:
