Downhill riders is great. Especially if you want to party on the bus. If you want to sleep on the bus though go with Magic Bus.

been on downhill riders...pretty sweet and the bus driver passed like 99% of the cars on the way there n back, not a 90kph ride

I work for Downhill Riders. Awesome to party with, bus is licensed, so you can drink on the way down. Typically leaves on a Friday after work (6:00 ish), and returns after skiing on sunday.

If you want a couple of awesome trips to check out, try PJ party on Mar 10-12 in Fernie (think 500 18-30 yr olds wearing PJ's all weekend), includes 2 days skiing/boarding, bus trip, and accomodation. There is a PJ party on Saturday night right on the mountain, with DJ's, and bar (should be cheap drinks).

The other one is Sunpit Safari, April 7-9. We have ~ 1500 people going to Panorama, with a big band (should be announced next week), same deal as above, but even more partying. I don't even ride on this trip, except to do the slush cup.

If you have specific questions, just post up, but I've been doing these trips as a customer for 7 years, and as a guide for two. It is the best way to head to the mountains for a weekend of skiing.

Cheers,

Evan.

I went on a trip to Kicking Horse with Backside tours. It was licensed and on the way there they gave everyone a couple free beers. It seemed to take a long time to get there but overall it was pretty cool.

Downhill Riders! Only way to go!!!  I can not say enough about these trips!

I've been with both companies and they are both very similar. Good times, party hard on the bus, eat a Pete's drive-thr in Calgary, Ski/Board all weekend, then sleep on the bus on the way home.
