Plus i haven't had to buy winter tires/rims for the RX-7:D

edmCRX

they must be wondering wtf is going on.

2003specv
I almost want to switch to summers again. This is killing my Nokians. I bet if I did that it would jinx the whole thing and fuck everyone though.

Markgase2000
We had snow today but the sun ate it

2003specv
Naw, insurance is off of it, and it's all settled in for hibernation. Plus I have parts all over, my shop, my work, my home.... haha.

Wookey
Haha nice. WEell you better start collecting those parts cause the season starts in 2.5 months!

2003specv
Can't wait! Man so much to do. I still have to get my hatch painted too.

shorti
I can't wait to get the bike out and go for a nice long ride.

2003specv
Fuck the bike man. It's all about rollin in the Eunos Roadster with the hard top on a 30 degree day!:D

shorti
ya or that

95EagleAWD
This winter rules. Shouldn't have taken the summer rubber off.

There's a guy up here.. he hasn't stopped riding.. mind you he rides a dirt bike not a cruiser or a crotch rocket. Snow, rain, Ice rain.. doesn't sstop him.

Sadly we're going to be pretty fucked this summer if we don't get some precipitation soon. I like the nice weather as much as anyone, but not when it comes at the cost of massive forest fires and drought for farmers.

SilverZ24
^ Too much rain one year, not enough the next. Those guys will always complain. I've just stopped listening to them. :p

This weather is great though. I wish every winter was like this here. Although I agree we do need some precipitation. A few of the really warm days I have been tempted to turn on the sprinklers. lol

n0c7
I don't mind that my car is put away. It gives me time away from the idiots on the road and lets me appreciate it more when I get it back out there. Too bad there is still so much to do in such short time.

GQsmooth
we deserve it....we had a shitty summer!

That was what everyone was afraid of last year, and we ended up with one of the wettest summers in our recent history.

I'd rather have more snow now and have a nicer summer. Because of this mild winter we are probably in for another crappy summer... :(

Agreed.

Mother Nature always gets back at yah.

SilverNeonRacer
I have no prob with lots of snow, as long as it stays above -10.
I could do without the -30, -40.

Ws really funny, the other week I was leaving work, absolutly no snow anywhere, and I was thinking, gee a big dump would be fun right about now, as long as it stays warm. So the next morning it started to snow... lightly. So I was thinking, gee if it keeps up like this it'll take for ever to get a big dump, then within the next 15min there was 3" on the ground heh

End of the world I tell you..

95EagleAWD
If it's still like this next week, the summer rubber is going back on. :D

I got AWD, I'm invincible in the snow... ;)

GQsmooth
lol, ppl still have their winters on. For the amount it snowed this winter, you didn't even need them...:banghead:

Winter? What winter haah
It didn't even reach -20C once in January, the coldest month of the year. Grass is still green in some places. According to Meterologists, its not a fluke, these kind of winters will be more common in this part of the world.
As bad as it is for the rest of the world, global warming is making me happy.

Downtown Edmonton hasn't seen -40C in over 30 years. I know what ur saying though, snows not all that bad.

Wookey
I'll take winters like this, with no problems :) And if it does dump snow, so be it. It wont stay long. Doesn't really affect my car unless its after work cause i take a work vehicle home every night which is decent in the snow. 03 GMC Savanna 2500 work van. Its rather fun to drift.

Thats soo wroing.. well maybe down town, but northside has seen -40 -45 in my life time.

Up where I live now, -40 last year was quite commin, we hit -35(-45 with windchill) this year.

Shoot back in 99 the thermometer outside our old place hit -60 for a couple days - bout 100ft off the Athabasca River.

tegGSR
^^^thats what i was just thinking...i remember it being -40 with windchill in my lifetime and i'm only 20

SilverNeonRacer
I remember trudging home from school in -50 with windchill - mid 80's

I have you all beat. -67 with the wind at the Intl airport. Working outside sucked a lot... especially cuz the Brink's trucks are big steel ice cubes.

SilverNeonRacer

Honda_Finatic
I'm thinking we might get snowed on twice as hard next year. I always believe everything has to balance out somehow. Meanwhile, i sure am enjoying this winter.
