First off, define where? A City of Edmonton bylaw officer is different from a Leduc County bylaw officer which is different from a City of Leduc bylaw officer, etc....
It depends on the arrangement they have with the City Police or RCMP. I know that Strathcona County and Parkland County bylaw officers give out speeding tickets...
YMMV |

| The city of edmonton website ( http://www.edmonton.ca ) has a Bylaw section and lists all the bylaws which you can be ticketed for. |

| Well then...perfectly legit. Pay your ticket and either remove the tint on your front side windows or risk another... |

| no I never got a ticket, i jsut removed my tint, and I am not a person who tries to fight every ticket I get, I have payed all the tickets I have gotten, I was just wondering what a by-law officer can do in leduc, I am guessing like traffic laws, etc. |

Contact the City of Leduc and ask. |
