| ill more then likely show... my car has like 10 or 15 rock chips on the front which i dont think ill be able to fix by then..stupid pearl is retarded expensive to repaint. but ill probly show anyways |

if we have a club booth or something i will enter. will be tinted/lowered by then.
they approved me last year and didn't say anything. my mod list is 90% performance. shit you don't see so it is kind of boring at a show. |

| Ive got more mods then tyler but its not show worthy (small rust on rear fender and some scuffs front and back) so I won't be putting it in. For the next DTP I will as part of the club. |

if i didn't have to put out money for replacement trannys, auto>5spd swaps i would be turbo by now. i just got bad luck.
this will be a good season though. see what everyone rolls out in the spring with. |

I give you guys cudo's for your dedication to the club and your spirit to enter shows but you guys have to realize that this show is high caliber. Not to burst your bubble but they are looking for show quality cars (i.e. ManHunters).
You guys are better off saving up for SCN which is May 6th...
I really hope that you guys can come together as a group this year and represent at both the show's as well as the track events. We had a mediocer turn-out last year... |

JDM shift cables (+5hp at least)

not to mention its in great condition for a 4th gen. no rust, just a few small dents/rock chips mint interior, etc. mod list isn't impressive by any means. this whole thing started as my response to i have more mods then ryan haha.
i will not enter high profile shows, maybe just something like DTP last year. im not out to win anything haha. just to support.
this season im aiming for a NA build.
since my tranny will be paid off soon i want to source hondata s200,ITB's, and a good header.
Full JUN valvetrain as well.
as long as nothing else goes wrong that is.

my car was automatic so i converted it to 5spd
(had to buy a tranny, pedals,shifter,etc)
its a shitload of work and a big headache. |

I know I'm not part of the prelude club and I know this is unsolicited advice, but I felt I should say it and I mean it in the nicest way possible...
Your car was the blue-green azure pearl 4th gen at the DTP show last july right (in the EPC booth, facing our Z club booth)? If so, I took special interest in your car because its the same color as my '96 SR-V that I used to own, so I happened to check it out closely that weekend during the show.
I'll get to the point... your paint that weekend had a horrible amount of swirlmarks in it. I honestly felt it looked like you didn't put any effort in to preparing it for that show (other than washing it). If you are seriously considering putting your car into a high-profile show like Powerama I can only offer the friendly suggestion that you put some effort in to try polishing them out for next time. (or at least try to hide them with a glaze-type product)

| ya, i ran out of time. didn't get a chance to wax it like i wanted to. first time preparing for a show and didn't expect it to take so long. will be better prepared for next time. maybe even get ming to power polish it. |

I think I spent more time detailing Tyler's car than he did for that show...
If people don't put forth the effort in preparing their cars for a car SHOW, why even bother... It doesn't take much money to wash, wax, vacuum, wipe down interior, clean windows, etc... It's all time & effort... |

| i spend a good hour and a half detailing my car every weekend even in the winter, then i just do a regular soap and rinse during the week. ive never shown a car before and im a perfectionist i try to prevent anything thats possible to prevent i can see it taking me hours and hours to be ready for a show.. |
