muska59
i have purchased an aftermarket front bumper for my car which is the closest fit since no body kits are really made for my car and shouldnt be that big of a job but was wondering where to take it to get this installed and painted??? would FX Designs be an alright choice?? any suggestions would be greatly apprciated!thanx :D

prophet_ca
fx would be fine for installation... im guessing its fiberglass??? but you might want to paint it somewhere else, cause there painting fee's are the cheapest..

Where would be a good place to get a car painted in the city? (that will do quality work)

Pro Drag
Reflections on the south side.
Modern Autobody on the west end.
Remember, you get what you pay for.

thanks for the info

EclipseGSX
Car Masters on 118th ave and 48th st. Having my spoiler painted there now. Good prices, and they put on an awsome finish. Ask for Alan. Tell him that bruno sent you.

Do you need the bumper to be fitted (ie. custom fiberglass work)?

If that is the case, you should take it to a shop that does that stuff, not a normal shop.

I would not recomend FX. I got a spoiler from them and they treated me like shit. and when it cracked and i wanted it fixed it took over 6 weeks for some small cracks.

drastik
(common dras ol' boy, be polite about it... you can do it)

I've had a few issues with the customer service at FX as well , and unless you have a lot of time and patience on your hands, I suggest going somewhere else. Go to a body shop that knows fiberglassing well, then you can get it all done in house.

I thought FX would be an alright choice but then again i havent really dealt with them that much before. what are my options for shops here in edmonton?

muska59
ok then what would be a good shop for this job to be performed in house and how long would it take????and yest it needs minor fitting aswell. im just waiting for the nice weather before i get it put on i cant wait.

I currently have the FX Designs front air dam on my older modle 300zxt and haven't had any problems with it cracking or anything. However if you wanted to go with somthing different on your car I suggest you have a look atSpoilers. Just my two cents...

muska59
i already have the bumper i just need it custom fitted and painted

Zazam
In that case if all you need is prep work and paint I would highly suggest Joey's Place on the west end if you have the flow $$ to do it...

i was thinking about checking out AutoSource
