what whp/tq numbers was it making before and after tuning?

bluecargirl666
ill trade you for your taillights

RX_AGENT
Peak number don't mean anything so I won't even bother, I forget anyways. Comparing the before and after dyno is what shows the real gains.

What taillights do you want?

Do you know how much of a whp/wtq gain this would have over a stock type-r then?

no offense but are these numbers going to influence your purchase??? Its a Type R. With a tuned VAFC its quite the high end monster. Its a auto-x car not a drag car so hp and tq numbers are pretty much irrelevant when it comes to a car like this.

I'm not trying to be an ass but there is no way someone would put chrome tails on an R. If you want the all reds there is someone selling them on beyond for $140. :) Anyways sweet car. Bump for a fellow ITR owner.

Go_Lancer_Go
jus curious but what does it dyno at?

Kobe Tai
well stock type r dynos at 160-165 so this one has a bit more

kiew118
are you parting out the OEM gunmetal rims with tire?

RX_AGENT
Sorry I have the 97 integra tails w/ amber installed on this car, looks alot better IMO.

Sorry guys I'm not parting out anything at the momemt, just incase I don't sell the car I still want use of ALL the parts.

Exactly.

CanadianR
sigh, another one leaving the group:( . I understand though, selling mine may be unavoidable in the future too; gotta get priorities straight as you get older. Good luck with the sale Anthony.

RX_AGENT
Thanks Shane, hopefully you won't have to sell.

....will consider trades w/ decent 92-00 Civic(hb or 4 door)+ cash.

-Dev101-
what was the reason for the engine rebuild?

The car was burning a little too much oil near it's 100K mark so Acura did an oil consumption test, concluded that it was burning too much and took it apart. It was due to worn piston rings, so they pretty much rebuilt the whole bottom end, I have receipts stating exactly everything Acura did.

A little off topic but how do you like that exhaust set up you have? I was thinking about going a similar route.

I love it. Looks and sounds subtle enough to prevent tickets, but yet looks alot better than stock and you can hear the exhaust only when it counts.
