Haha, nice bumper friendly rubbermaid case!!! I'll be running over every single garbage can I see now!!
How hard would it be to walk up and steal the thing? Just swap it with another one that's the same and fill it with dog shit or something.

That is about the dubmest thing I have ever seen to come out of the Governement.
Is I ever see a flash like that come from a garbage bin, I'm takin' out the trash!. |

| Don't worry, logically they'll only want it out on "garbage" day otherwise ppl might get suspicious of a garbage can on the side of the road 24/7! Makes sense that it wouldn't be out unless there are others out, but who knows... I know here In St. A they bought a Jimmy suv to get into those hard to use places in all season and not get the van stuck! Sneaky buggers and photo radar (still better than alternative - no demerits) |

| BWAHAHAHA.... That thing would be a mess in Beaumont!... People here are always kickin over and beatin the crap outta garbage bin.... damn teenagers! I would personall ram it with my car and then drag it behind my car and take corners really fast so that garbage bin gets the drifting effect and wraps itsself around a pole! :o  |

| That's an old picture I first saw on the BMW boards over a year ago. The picture was taken in Germany as they use those to enforce residential speed limits. I don't think the local police services have any intention of using that here as of yet. |

i was just going to say that..............as of now we (see police) are not allowed to use unmanned objects etc for speed enforement. Plus can us imagine that garbage can sitting in -25 or lower temps and now fogging or freezing up.

| Ahhh i was wondering why there was a jimmy parked around that corner when u come into st albert from edmonton, usually there is a photo radar van there. They use the spot so much i dont know who would be dumb enough to speed around there, that and up on the hill across from the old soda jerks behind a tree with no leaves and across from the dodge dealership where the car rental place used to be on st albert trail. they need to find better spots |

| I'd fukin jack that shit |

| I would just steal it and sell the parts.. its gotta be worth big money.. the camera and HD, the batteries the flash.. or just open it up and set it to like 2km/h.. that way the city will have big time trouble finding the real tickets |

anyone have an idea on what the photoradar setup on the vans around edmonton cost?
cause it has to be an astronomical cost or else we'd be raped on every single road we drive spiritedly on. |

I can see taping a picture of Bubb Rubb to the glass so every shot they get is of the beautiful gold plated grin!

If the police have to man these photo radar, wont it be easy to see a cop hiding in a garbage can with a camera? i dont think that would last long because you only gget the really really stupid drivers not paying attention to see a cop standing there?
And on another note, does any one happen to know how B C got rid of their photo radar? :dunno: :dunno: |

Public outcry was what started it........as for the legal process who knows?
apparently people in B.C. realized that a photo van parked on a free way wasn't saving lives just absorbing money for the police. |

Obviously, they must be making some nice coin from photo radar, with all the vans and other new vehicales, like in St A, all that cost money, and where do they get it from, i wonder |
