i think it was like a year ago or something but the rcmp guy on here from spruce grove said something about its illegal to put photo radar on a highway?
well i got a photo radar ticket on highway 16a going through spruce grove...so...wasn't it illegal for them to give that to me?

| as long as they have the sign that has the picture of the camera and under it saying: "Speed" Then it's cool for them to put it after that sign... |

Photo radar is not permitted to be used on Provincial Highways that are under the jurisdiction of Alberta Infrastructure & Transportation....but being as you were inside the limits of the City of Spruce Grove, it's their road, not the province's.....so bingo, photo radar is possible.
No different than photo radar on the Yellowhead Trail (Highway 16) in Edmonton. |
