i tried talking and getting information from several people about importing a 90-91 skyline GTR. Everyone is giving me different quotes i really don't know who i should buy a skyline with. Who would u go with to import a skyline? and why? and how much should it cost everything together for a good condition, under 100kms, with some a/m parts skyline cost? thanks

the_fornicator
most people will vote for import concern

terra2 looks like they got some cheap prices

cowman
i was just looking for something like the gtr on racebred.com low km's for 15000. i want it to be in good condition with alittle more a/m parts. maybe cheaper too.

I would import a skyline through FulBlown Motorsports. They pay for the car with there money first, instead of asking you for your money upfront. Now what does that tell you? They trust that the car will be good enough, and not crap, that they invest their money into buying it for you, untill you get to see and look at it, etc when it gets to Canada. Talk to Josh at FulBlown Motorsports. He's a good guy, and they cars are not over priced either. But definately the cars he imports are all quality cars, and no junk.

4kruzn has a black gtr for sale. Take a look at it on their web page. They have a marketplace spot here so look them up.

Just remember you get what you pay for so if you pay $12000 for a gtr; do you think it will be in good condition? Just remember that when shopping around.

terra 2???? are you kidding me??? all of their stock almost is the identical vehicle you find on another site such as J-Spec with a nice 500-1000 dollar markup. i guarantee if u find a vehicle on terra2 u will find that same car on another site for much cheaper.

$12000 will pay for some grade 3.0-3.5 GT-Rs with decent mileage and the condition will be good. "You get what you pay for" doesn't always apply to imported Japanese cars, sometimes the value just isn't there in Japan and you can get a really good deal for a good car.

Even 4Kruzn's $21,000 GT-R was a $8000 GT-R to start with:

http://english.auto.vl.ru/auctions/...kyline/1291567/

145k kms and it only sold at auction for $4000!

You can either buy a car locally for more money or buy one right from Japan for less. The past auction numbers prove that you can get a good grade 3.0-4.0 GT-R with guaranteed mileage from auction for $12,000-15,000 with Import Concern. If disclosed accident history doesn't bother you, I could quote even better prices.

cowman
so whats the price range of gtr's in japan that have not been in an accident b4, and how much does it cost all together to import and get inspections done and be on the roads of alberta?

How do you know its the one that 4kruzn bought?

R.K.

cowman
haha good question. so how much am i expecting around to pay to get a 91 gtr in good condition to alberta?

theonly3rd
I would go through 4kruzn not only have i met and spoke with the owner Conroy before but they are trying to open a lot right now to sell there car not just out of a storage bay as well all of the car they buy are inspected and if anything need to be fixed they fix it before they sell it to you they dont just sell it and then give you some candy so you wont say anything on the boards. there have been numerous people that have bought "nice" cars and they havent been able to pass inspection so they just sit in there drive way how cool would that be a non moving skyline.
just make sure you get an inspection done or something before you buy an import

How the hell would you know that they haven't made a sale in ages? Because their website hasn't been updated in a while? I know for a fact that they sold 3 cars in the past month.

Don't post shit if you don't know shit. Dumbass:rolleyes:

I would also like to state that i bought my RX-7 off of 4Kruzn and i've been very pleased with the purchase. No unexpected surpises.

$12000 Cosmo at 4kruzn

$5000 Cosmo at Importconcern

You're telling me there is a $7K difference between the two??

$20900 GTR at 4kruzn

$10000 GTR at importconcern

Bottom line: 4Kruzn's prices are a JACK!
Double the prices? Please.

95IntegraRS
Whats the difference? Lots. First off all of 4kruzn's cars are already here, already OOP and registered.

Second, the difference between the cosmo's? Well one has a 2 rotor twin turbo and the other has a 3 rotor twin turbo. Also 4kruzn's cosmo has a ssr rims and the body is mint. So you are buying a vehicle that needs no repairs.

Whats the difference between the skylines? Well first off IC's skyline has a grade B3 auction. so its been in a major accident. It also has "corrosion" aka RUST and incorrect mileage. 4kruzn's car has none of this. I have seen the car in person.

Those are the differences. You dont have to get unexpected surprises when 4kruzn brings in cars.

A couple months ago, the russian site I posted used to have pictures of all the past vehicles at USS auctions. So I matched up the pictures to find their car to see how much it used to cost. Ask 4Kruzn what the mileage, auction grade and date they bought that GT-R.

With Import Concern: $12000-15000 should afford 91 GT-Rs in good condition (grade 3.0-4.0), original mileage and that are accident free. You should budget $500-1000 for OOP.

jdmtalon
4kruzn = horrible customer service. conroy will not return a phone call unless there is money to be handed over. they sell nice cars but what happens when your car is having problems and you can not get a hold of conroy to sort things out. import concern has alot of positive feedback but dont expect a perfect car. there very nicely priced though

There is absolutely no way they can guarantee that the cars won't have problems. Brokers will try to inform buyers of every problem they can find, but occasionally stuff gets past them.

Anyone who guarantees the quality of a car in Japan before they have seen it in person is full of shit.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Matt. I don't get alot of these guys that buy the JDM cars. They expect everything to be in "Tip-Top shape" and that if somethings wrong that there's warrantee work. Its a used car people. Do you get warantee if you buy a car from some random person? What's that? No? Didn't think so.

Good for you. You want a fuckin Hero Biscuit or something? This is just something Conroy and Richard do on the side. They do have full time jobs and families that they have to spend time with. Its not like Christian or Andre who just go to school and sell cars.
