| I got a parking ticket the other day for parking outside a freinds house between the hours of 3 and 7 in the a.m. I am just wondering why cant you park there, what is the big upset to traffic flow in a residential area at 3 in the morning. It was only $40 but still it could have been better spent on something other than a stupid ticket. |

Are you in Alberta?
I know in places like Toronto the laws are setup like this because of the lack of parking. |

| You're too lazy to drive around a cul-de-sac to check for a no parking sign? |

Your buddy didn't say anything in warning?...nice guy.
So was the cul-de-sac in Calgary, or Edmonton?

So basically you're asking about parking restrictions in Calgary on a forum that's geographically based in central / northern Alberta.
How the heck would any of us know about Calgary parking restrictions?
:drama:
Best I can think of is that given the street was 20km/h, it was within a private development (condo complex or other type of multi-family development). Any municipal street will be 50km/h normally, which is usually unsigned. So, if the above is true, who knows what the condo board's set up for parking restrictions.
Beyond that, who the fuck cares about Calgary? |

| I am an Edmonton oilers fan and I like Edmonton just fine so there is no reason to down Calgary because we are better. |

Typical Calgarian...you misunderstood. First off, you didn't respond to my suggestion that it may have been a private cul-de-sac...so I'm going to guess that it was and you now know you're in the wrong... But, when I said "...who the fuck cares about Calgary?", it was meant from the perspective of Calgary's parking bylaws and such. Being as this board is for points north of Red Deer...who do you think has an answer to your silly little $40 parking ticket question?
