Its not a cavalier. The gauges look like they are from a Jeep plus it has automatic and 4x4. Im going with Jeep.

seevik
it looks like a silverado or sierra truck, or sum truck deff not a cavi

Wolfdio
what cavalier comes with 4X4? lol
I'm almost sure its Chevy/GM

Nightstalker
I am with Chad on this one.

Turbo_Civic92
wow

Mustard
ugh

it's a truck... most likely a garbage truck, so the guy can get in and out easier to pick up said garbage on the right hand side..

i've driven one like that acctually.. but it had two wheels, not only one. and was linked by chain, not a belt..

Altezza
Its a chrysler vehicle the gauges dont look like GM style gauges im going with either Dodge or, Jeep

SilverNeonRacer

It's more of a safety thing than a lazy thing.

Drive down a highway - mail boxes are on the pass side of the vehicle.
And instead of having to get out of the drivers side door, walk around, put crap in the mail box and get back in, all the while with the risk of being hit by a moron on the highway.

I deliver news papers, to businesses Tuesday mornings, and alot of rural route mail people do the same thing I do. Just cross the road, and face the wrong way, I just drive for the 200ft or so on the wrong side of the road.

But you still run the risk of freaking out on coming vehicles, plus it can be a pain to wait for trafic to get back to the rigth side of the road and continue on.

Function over form.

not that he transferred it over, i really dont care what anyones reasons are for doing a rhd conversion, but why not spend
a little time and do it right. if you're taking a safety point of view, how about if he gets in an accident and that nice belt snaps off?

Tech2
I'm so glad there is a reason, any reason, for that other than being a big fat bowl of rice.

Good point. It looks like the steering wheel is removable and can be put back on the drivers side with ease. Hopefully the conversion is only used for the actual deliveries, in which case speeds should be 40-50km/h(Above 40km/h delivery people need to wear a seat belt).

I'm still waiting for the cops to try and give me a seat belt ticket for Tuesday mornings.

Yes, but he's still going to have to get to wherever his deliveries are. Which is probably over 60km/hr

I dunno, i just think driving on the wrong side of the road might be safer than that thing :dunno: lol and can u imagine being a passenger? dont touch the wheel...

heh, I was meaning that he probably has the steering wheel on the right(errm left) side to get where he's going, then once delivering swaps over.

Heh yeah, just a little bit of a pinch hazzard there.... More like I'd hate to be a passanger if it crashes... not only do you smash against the wheel, well pully, and something gets pinched too... Breast reduction anybody?

X_O
Holy fuck thats funny hehe
