I am looking for a good cheap ($10g) car, for just going from point A to B (Back & forward from Ft Mac). In addition, something that still has warranty.

My to main choices are:
HYUNDAI ELANTRA VE

KIA SPECTRA GSX

Just wondering if anyone has any expenses with these cars, or what are your thoughts on them.

If you just want point a - b, why rule out the compact family of cars (Echo, Rio, Aveo, etc....)? Those may give you the most factory warranty for your money....

Personally, I'd go with an older reliable beater. My buddy takes his Camry wagon (88) up there and get's 700KM to a tank of gas, on an engine with 280K on it.
