all i can think about is the mercedes system that was suppose to brake for you with the car slowin down in front of you. So like in fog or something. Anyways top gear had them do a test and it absolutely rear ended the car infront of it. So yeah great that the computer can do it in theory but otherwise meh.
I like the idea maybe that the cameras can tell you if its possible or not. A lot of times you drive by and go Hmpf maybe too tight and dont want to risk it.. but if the computer says yep you got the space then that would be golden .. |

uhh top gear didnt ask them to do the test, a local news station asked them, and ya i can see this turnning ugly, first it backs up in to the car behind, and then lurches forward and rear ends the car. oh i can see the law suits now :lol: |

yeah... it was shown on top gear ... hense i used top gear as the show that asked. But yes what i said is totally out the window cause it was a local new station ?? go home know it all |

Hopefully they can eventually eliminate all thought for these people so that they aren't making dumbass moves on the road anymore.
Oh and that Mercedes test failed because they were doing the demonstration inside a steel hall and it interfered with the car's systems. It's no excuse, but at least they know the problem and can find a way to fix it. |
