i bought this car as a project but i have no more money or time to put into it. its a 1992 eagle talon tsi awd turbo. black exterior, black leather interior, black stock wheels. car is an ontario vehicle and i will include a passing OOP inspection with it. This car has alot of money invested in it and only needs about $500 worth of work to be mechanically perfect. i also have receipts for $1600 worth of work done only a few weeks ago. heres a description.

6 bolt JDM engine
Evo 3 Turbo
B&M Commandflo Fuel pressure modifier
2.5” exhaust with magnaflow muffler
K&N air filter
New clutch
New head gasket
New timing Belt
New intake valves, keepers, springs, and lower spring shims
New passenger side wheel bearing and CV shaft
New Goodyear eagle ultra grip ice tires
New (used) ECU
New (used) injectors
and more...
the BAD news:
*the balance shaft belt needs to be replaced or removed (causing vibration at higher rpms) i have this quoted at $250 to fix with a new belt.
*also there is a sensor (forget which one) that is screwed and is causing a bad idle. ill post the name and price tomorrow i cant seem to think about it right now, but it was under a $100 to fix
*the dash is lifting on passenger side (typical DSM problem) i have no idea what it would cost to fix but it wouldnt be too expensive and not really necessary.
*center vent missing, i have one in my garage somewhere i just cant find it :dunno:
TOTAL ESTIMATE: under $500 and you have a nice car!! the car is still driveable aswell.
some minor paint fade on rear spoiler and very slight surface rust on front passenger fender, other than that body is good condition.
i want this thing gone so i can get one step closer to parking in the garage again ;) ill go out and snap some pics they will be posted right away. asking only $3900 firm. |
