If not increase programming other than NASCAR, perhaps a dedicated NASCAR Channel would be best. We know it is possible to fill 24hrs of broadcast with the one subject, since SpeetTV has pretty much become just that. To put this in perspective, I must watch the Outdoor Life Network just to see the Dakar Rally, since it is not covered by your programming.
Favorite shows (F1, WRC, Motorcycle racing):
WRC, Tarmac Rallies, SCCA, Prostreet drags (non top-fuel/funny car)
The sad thing is, if the previous 65,000 signatures did nothing, what exactly would these 26,000 do? |

Speed pissed me off a couple months ago and I ended up getting rid of my whole cable. 53" with bunny ears. Looking into a dish but havent made up my mind and I'm not at home much just haven't done anything yet. No cable sure makes you spend time elseware. Done lots on the Tacoma and Mini is coming together.

Haha, I was caught here and on Dori Kaze. I had already closed the page and couldn't recall the exact number that I was so I just guessed. Oh well, I'm in there.
Inzane, it's all personall opinions. I personally hate that they run round table discussions of Nascar practice sessions for 4 hours a day when there is plenty of other racing they could be broadcasting. |

Absolutely... I'm with ya. I HATE NASCAR.
But I think they're getting side tracked when they are also trying to throw in Texas Hardtails and Unique Whips into the fray, when they have absolutely nothing to do with our NASCAR woes. |

| I fail to see how this is going to have any effect your guys.. do you have any clue how many redneck hicks watch Nascar like a religion.. 17,000 people is not going to have any effect what so ever on what is shown on speed. Honestly this would have to have a couple million names on it before anything would be done about it. |

That does not mean that they are not also nascar fans. I figure the reason its so popular is because its like a big drunken party in the stands.. It has nothing to do with the actual racing. I also find the IRL lame for the same reason I dislike nascar..
As for Speeds coverage of WRC and F1.. You guys know that they show every race live and then again the next day right ? I would be more interested in seeing DTM, JGTC, and on a more important point SPEED WORLD CHALLANGE on at times when some of us can actually watch it.. I think I managed to see a total of 3 SWC races this year. Its actually my favorite racing series.

I hate Nascar as much as the next non redneck but you need to look at the perspective of speed t.v. why cancel something that generates alot of money for them. Nascar is really stupid though.

I'm not saying to cancel Nascar. I just don't believe that people sit there and watch all of those Nascar supplement shows. Fucking Nascar poker? Are you kidding me? And I'm one person that actually kinda likes watching poker on TV, just not home games between nascar drivers and their mechanics. |

i like the bush 24/7 show, get to see inside the teams
by far speed news is the best.
finaly i have xm in my truck and i listen to clare b lang and joe on xm 144 the nascar chanel all day long...
so you see, you might just be the small voices in a sea of nextel cup fans
ps speedvision did a way better job of rally than speed ever did! |
