Fs: 1990 Crx Si - Click HERE for Original Thread

I've got a 1990 crx si with a obd0 zc engine in it with 95,000 kms. The car itself has 288,000 kms. The car has an AEM cold air intake, headers (which brand I dont know) and a full catback exhaust. Car also has a arctic start alarm/starter combo. There are some slight issues with the car though. The timing of the car is off and there is rust on the rear wheel wheel wells and on the doors. The sunroof also doesn't close properly.

Asking $2500 but offers are welcome.

any reason you're selling it? sounds nice to me man, just like it needs a little TLC

mister_two
how bad is the rust?
do u happen to have any of the stock parts as well?

kdwebber
The rust is the worst around the rear wheel wheels. There are other rust spots on the car but nothing major. There is also rust on the doors and I have a spare passenger door that I picked up last summer because I hated seeing rust on the doors I just never got around to changing the door. The reason I'm selling it is because at this point and time I need the cash and don't have the time to do the tlc required. As for the stock parts I don't have any of them. I bought the car from my brother last spring and have no idea what he did with them but I'm pretty sure they are long gone.

Hope that helps.

pics are up, sorry for the wait

mister_two
is the rust thru the body?

kdwebber
Its thru the body on the quarter panels above the wheels but nowhere else.

the timing of the car is off- what kind of result does that have on the driving... because there are different "degrees" of timing being off. does that means it burns rich, drives shitty, doesnt start, etc... ???

kdwebber
The car starts fine, but does generate the same amount of power that it would if the car was tuned properly and the timing was fixed. The car doesnt burn any oil and I dont think its running too rich. I'm faily certain that the engine jumped a tooth either on the exuast cam or the intake cam im not quite sure. I've read that this will mess up the timing which is what has happend to me.

Hope that helps
