haha I love you man!
When I worked at Toyota City people were really interested in this car. But when they found out they had to take courses to maintain the charge system they eagerly turned to echos and Camrys but usually cheaper domestics. I heard one lady say "I guess gas isnt that expensive , I dont want something thats gonna have to be followed around with a electric cord. Parking in the city no plug ins for the public , what does toyota expect me to do? Go for lil short drives and only park at home?" |

haha but thats what the lady said
All because the lady saw it plugged in the showroom. The sales rep was sure frustrated and insulting her trying to sell her the car. Priceless yet common moment working in a sticks Toyota dealership.
There was a course on how to "maintain it" however it was to learn not to nail the pedal to the floor in order for the electric engine to work on its own. Plus it just came out here at the time , totally Wetaskiwin was not ready for a car like that :) |

| the "real car" one makes me question my import car preference. maybe because my friend used to drive a 68 firebird 'till he effed the engin, man we raped imports like crazy, never any ones that seemed to be actually performance orientated. |
