looking for a diesel VW, looking to spend about $3000

AmericanCarSuX
I'm currently looking for a new car and drive a 1990 Tdi that I will be selling with spare 1990 jetta for parts (2 cars)

Specs:
1.6L Tdi 5 spd
360XXX km (oil changed early for last 5 years, runs excellent - gets betweeen 750 - 800 km per tank)
Silver on gray (minor interior damage) tinted windows with rear spioler - not big bumper

The Bad:
starting to rust around front windshield molding and is also spotting minimaly in some areas
Heating fan is starting to go
has a few dings on body (all F*CKING done by retard drivers to the car while it was parked!)
*clutch...see below

Work done on car:
New glow plugs (changed last year)
New alternator (changed last year)
Newer Interstate Battery (2y old)
2nd season (75% left) on yokohama winter tires

*the Tdi would be sold with a second 1991 Jetta (gas) used for parts. The clutch on the Tdi is currently a 4 spd because the 5th gave 2 years ago. The gas Jetta has good 5 spd i was going to replace but never did since 4 gears is all I need for driving in the city. The gas also runs but is not in the best shape.

I'm on the fence if I should spend a little more to totaly patch up the car or if I should sell it...... all depends if I find a new car I like for a good price.

Looking to sell for about $3000

Turbo diesel and tdi's are 2 totally different engines, the tdi is a 1.9 L engine that didn't come out until the later 90's, the turbo diesel is a 1.6L turbo engine that has been available since the early 80's. both are obviously diesels!!! Jus so you know!! the Jetta this person is talking about is definately a turbo diesel (TD)
