I'm looking for something to transport my wife and 3 year old daughter.
REQUIRE:
Import cars only. Prefer Honda/Acura.
4 door.
Automatic transmission.
Air conditioning.
Should be mechanically in good to excellent condition.
Little to no rust.
Budget is $4000.
PREFER:
Honda Accord or Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan sentra, or equivalent.
1990 or newer.

Dont have a SE-I anymore but when I did I changed the deck ofcourse and the rest of the sterio sounded better then my ex-i with all decent pioneer stuff. |

Thanks for the links guys, but I can't deviate from from requirements.
My wife doesn't drive standard and has no desire to learn right now, and I NEED 4 doors. Those of you with children and child seats know why. It's all I can do to try and retain my manhood and not buy a minivan...:D

Actually, we are currently driving a 1996 Cavalier, which I have to say has been extremely reliable. Those that know me, know that was painful to say.
It must have been built by the Japanese. :lol:
Anyway, we will be selling the Cavalier, and buying an import.

So you are planning on selling a car that has been good to you to go with something about 5-6 years older, probably way more kms just so you can have an import? :blink:
Personally, if your wife and kid are important to you I would put them in something as new and safe as possible. |

As always, forums/email, etc such as this don't always convey the whole picture.
The Cavalier HAS BEEN reliable. Additionally, newer doesn't always equate to more safer. There are other factors as well for selling the car that I don't care to discuss here and have nothing to do with the original posting.
Guys, please do not turn this into a domestic/import debate, because it is not. This planet is big enough for domestics and imports. Why can't we all just get along? :beer:
I have set the parameters of what I am looking for and am appreciative of those who have contacted me with leads that meet the aforementioned criteria.
