I was just learning all about XBOX modding today, funny that this post is here.
I was also wondering about setting up a MODChip install gig, it's super easy.
You might be pissed at me but I gotta give a heads up to the peeps, anyone wondering about moddin your box check out XBox-scene.com, this site has step-by-step instructions on everything you EVER wanted to know about modding your box.
It's so cool, you can browse your BOX via FTP, store video to playback later, burn and rip games. And yes, you can still use XBox Live.
There's a guy on the forum in his XBox he's got:
-120gb HD
-Geforce4 ti
-Soundblaster Live
-256mb rdram
i laughed when I saw that, he's one hardcore mofo |

Yes you would have to purchase the chip first. and no the chip is not plug and play.
IF you want to use the pin adapter you first have to suck all the soldier out of the holes before you can put the adapter in which is a bitch. also it is much better to use the wires. |
