Well i posted this in the RX7 forum, but I'll post it here as well...Im trying to get as much exposure for it as possible.
Ok all heres the scoop. Ive had the car for 2 years now, and its my baby, but i cant afford to keep her during school, as i found out the hard way...
87 base, power moonroof, mirrors, steering.
exterior: good paint, and recent clear coat, random small, very unnoticeable dings, and 2 other ones, the rear drivers side fender was dinged a little in a parking lot, as well as the passenger front fender, luckily, the bumbers were untouched. The back dent is not really noticable unless you know what the panneling is supposed to look like, the one on the front is, but it is not a monster to fix.
Interior: i have the fuel pump shutoff switch installed under the dash so no more flooding. New shift boot and weighted knob, the seats were removed, rebuit and completely reupholstered. Carpets arent great, the last owner got some pretty gnarly stains on them, but they arent mangled, panels are good, minor scuffs, and all but one vent is whole. idiot lights work except for clock, and the brake light stays on intermittently. new panasonic stereo, xm ready, new front and rear speakers, clarion and panasonic respectively
Engine: rebuilt about 100,000 kms ago, but it runs well, all new belts. 180,000 total on the car. New wiper switch and motor, new brake master cylinder, new nkg spark plugs 7eq leads, 9eq trailing, wires checked. stainless headers, and good exhaust, its not name brand, but its 2 inch piping to 2 small free flow mufflers, they're loud, but it doesnt look like soupcans from the back. The tranny isnt great, 1st is kinda wierd, makes noise, but that immediatly dissapears in all other gears, and it could use new bearings, but i have a replacement tranny that i was gonna swap in that i never got around to that comes with the car. New driveshaft, after blowing out my last one.
other: the rims are BBS liscensed, ASA special edition rims, totally unique, never seen em on another car, with new Yokohama Avid T4's really great tires, less than 1000kms on em, plus the old phone dials, and the toyos with about 60% tread left, come with. spare is in great condiditon. New motorized antenna and shifter bushings, and ive put in some H4 headlamps.
Im looking to get somewhere in the mid 3000 range but im willing to negociate..
