My house is finally done being built so we are moving and have some stuff we dont want to bring with us. I have no pictures.
Cherry color bedroom set> head board, 2 night stands, dresser, mirror and amiroe. Bought in 2001 from the brick. Has some minor scratches and a few chips other than that its in good condition. (my wife decided to buy a new set)
White crib, crib matress, crib bedding, winnie the pooh pictures. All of this is in VERY good condition pretty much like new. Crib was used for 1 year (my daughter) pictures were bought in July. the bedding is also winnie the pooh. If anyone knows someone pregnant and in need of this because of a personal situation it would be best given to them I also have gently used girls and boys clothes to give away to someone in need sizes newborn to age 3. Also pink crib bedding set. Winnie the pooh lamp shade is a bit crinkled from my kids playing with it.
We are moving our daughter to a bunk bed with our oldest daughter.
High chair by Graco bought for $250.
Everything is free I will be adding to this list as I get ready to move. Heads up the bedroom set is good to go now but the childrens set can not go until march 27th as my daughter still needs it until then.

thanks and let it be known it was VERY hard I must have had over 20 people call (I put the ad in the baragin finder). I finally choose a single mom with 2 children a 2 year old and 5 month old. She has no crib and not much clothes. So I hope this will help her and her children have an easier time. You never realize how many people are out there that are in need until something like this. Makes you think of all the things you take for granted everyday like a place your child sleeps.
As for the bedroom set what am I suppose to do I wish I had 10 of them but there is only one. Gimme some ideas people. |

Hey I am the guy who is picking up the high chair from you later this month and after reading your posts about the single mother I think it would be good if every one thats got some extra stuff out there on 780 followed your example. I need a high chair for my baby on the way but I have a bunch of clothes for boys and girls and we dont know what we're having so after I find out in april I would be willing to hand over what I dont need to someone who needs it. If you have her number still I think the Whole 780 community should chip in and do something nice for her. post here or PM me if every ones in on this and list what you have to give up.

more info on her: She has a 2 year old son and 5 month old girl they all sleep on her bed with her and every night she lines the edge of her bed with stacks of blankets so she can sleep soundly knowing her childen are not going to fall off the bed. She has barly no clothes for her daughter and seems to be having a very hard time being a single mom. I am giving her ALL the baby stuff besides the high chair and a few other things I have laying around. I am a interior decorator to be (this is se-i's wife by the way) and I have been buying decor, bedding ect when I find things on sale and I will be passing on new bedding, washroom mats and pictures.
However I did recieve a message on my phone today from a lady that has a friend that just moved to this country and she is due in june a single mother with NOTHING. Maybe we can come up with a way to help her.
The way I look at it is if you have something you no longer need and are not in "need" of money than you should pass it on to someone who does need it. Greed never gets anyone anywhere. All good things come back to you and if they dont then atleast you know you helped make someones life a little easier. |
