Its not about IC or importing from japan, but i figure since i cant find any info about what i want, people here have looked it up or know where to get info on it.
Anyway, i'm looking to import a newer vehicle from the US, but i dont know how they compute the duty costs and and all that good shit along with the red tape that goes along with importing from the US. |

Duty---7% of Canada Custom's book value.
GST----8% of Canada Custom's book value.
Ac tax $150.
RIV FEE $150
And the safety modifications you have to pay for within 45 days in Canada..up to about $3000-$4000 if you're doing a bumper change. |
