What would this Run? - Click HERE for Original Thread

What would this civic run? I ran into a guy yesterday and I usually don't like the ricey cars with wings, lowered really low, altezzas, and coloured windows but this guy's civic looked really nice. We wanted to have some fun but there was too much traffic so we just pulled into the 7/11 and talked for a bit.
99 Si, I/H/E, and a 55shot ZEX Nitrous.
Any estimates? 0-60 and 1/4 preferably.

vtecvoodoo
mid-14s or someshit
thats nothing too special

reno
Watch out! All that ricey shit adds mad horseys!

lava
LOL! No shit! hehehe
Wing - 50hp
Altezzas - 35-45hp depending on how many red dots...
that wing must add madd downforce on the back wheels (even though its a FWD...heheh)

siopao
don't forget stickers... stickers=5hp..

Luong98
High 14secs if he's even able to put down that power on the track. Otherwise my guess is he has no suspension mods and shitty OEM tires, translating to a low 15secs.

EG6 SiRII
race him and you'll find out, my guess is he's still using a stock clutch if it's not an auto, does he have big chrome wheels? shouldn't be too fast.

####, I was planning on getting my new suspension in before the races, but I had my downpipe and turbo off the car and I spent upto 2am getting everything back together again, I'm actually surprised I did it and got up in the morning again to make tech inspection...
Of course I forgot all the essentials like tools, food, etc. Consession food sucks.
But I think the Nitrous Civic would run high 14's if it was a base nerd Civic.

Marximus
TurboBlueNX - we need to do a story on your ride for the main page.
I hear EG6 SiRII was up until 7am prepping for the race!

EG6 SiRII
yeah, i was up till 7, i had to put everything back together, had the car all taken apart!
well, let's just say i wasn't too impressed with the time i got.
oh well, there's always next time. ?wink:
(Edited by EG6 SiRII at 3:44 am on Aug. 13, 2001)

####, 7am?!, I was up until 2am and I could barely get up to make the tech in the morning!.
Mind you, I was by myself... Hey, EG6, maybe we should team up!. I'll take the 6pm to 1am shift working on the cars, you take the 1am to 7am shift
As for a write up on my car, geez, what can I say, I'm alittle embarrased at my times, but it needs work and I need experience.

EG6 SiRII
well, Turbo, i'd like to learn more about Nissans, so maybe we can work on our cars together.

TurboBlueNX
Sure EG, I'm game.
I don't know alot, but I know something about Nissans.
My ultimate goal is to contruct a Skyline powered 240SX...
Now if I could only rewind the clock and start my project over again...

Unsure
I'd say mid 15's. You have to keep in mind the elevation. Not to mention that he's prolly just an average driver.

CYA
unsure hit the time pretty much right on the head. it will be a mid-high 15 second car. like a 15.6 - 15.7.
cya

HondaS2000
i'd say bout high 13's

CYA
hondas2000... you "are" kidding right? :o)
cya

HondaS2000
lol yes....i not that car illiterate.... finally someone that replied wifout calling meh an idiot when i say dumb shit....ne ways.....yeah cya is right.... should be a lil lower tho....depending how much the driver and the passenger weighs

TurboBlueNX
All you'd need to do is get the car to hook up... and don't use the Nitrous off the line
