I really, really wish I could use this printer that I have, but alas, I can't use it on my PC. It has the Appletalk(Localtalk) interface.
The printer is a NEC Silentwriter 640 postscript. I have used it on my oldass MAC classic and it printes perfectly form there. Hell, I used it to print my resumes' by sending the file to my mac with "macdisk" translating program, and then printing it from Clarisworks.
then I finally got a PC laser printer, so I would like to send this printer on to the next home.
It came from a medical office, and they said that it had just gotten a fresh toner before they retired it. I've printed maybe 30 pages since I got it. no weird marks or anything on the pages, it's even better than the one that I got to replace it.
first 30 bucks takes it.
