Wheel size question... - Click HERE for Original Thread

little_one_der
Okay, so I'm looking to get some new wheels this summer. I need a 4 x 100 bolt pattern. I'm looking at the Tenzo Mean-6 and the bolt patterns say 4x100/108 and 4x100/114.3 What the heck is with that??? :dunno: Why are there two numbers after the 4 and what do they mean?

droppedatbirth
different bolt patterns

4x100 is a bolt pattern
4x108 is a bolt pattern
4x114.3 is a bolt pattern

so the wheel has two bolt patterns on it. your 4x100 and also a 4x108 bolt pattern. if it says 4x100 anywhere it will fit on your car

also make sure you get the proper offset.

best bet is find a honda forum that has a FAQ thread about wheel/tire sizing for your car.

droppedatbirth
i didn't wanna confuse him by throwing in the offsets :p

but while were at it your offset will be AROUND +40

little_one_der
Yah, I read on an aveo forum that a 7" width 38 to 45 offset will work.
Cool. thanks guys, I just wanted to clear that up.

These are the wheels I'm thinking about
Tenzo Mean - 6
Speedy Lite 6
R-1 Spec V
Enkei RZ-5
5zigen Super 6

I'm 30% Enkei
30% 5zigen
12% Tenzo
12% Speedy
and 12% R-1

and 4% undecided

droppedatbirth
i like the mean 6 or the super 6.

but its all in your opinion man. don't go by what anyone else says, its your car.

Just get whichever rims are the lightest. You won't be to happy when your new rims make ur car slower.

It sucks having to cantact each company about wheel weight! Why don't they post them online?

You guys roxors! Found out so far...
R-1's weigh 15.4 lbs for the 16's
Speedy's weigh 15.4 for the 17's
Tenzo's weigh 21.7 lbs for the 17's
5zigen's weigh 19 lbs for the 17's

Can't find the Enkei weight for 17 x 7 but i'm gonna guess around 20 lbs

15's look ridiculous.

Save the pizza pans for the track. Get something nice for the street.

I prefer 17's or 18's

I'd rather look classy than like some boy racer. Downsize your rims for the track, upsize for the street.

Btw massive rims are geigh.

playa.
