Friday me and my buddies are chillin in Sherwood Park thinking of something to do. Somehow I suggest going to Creston BC to the Kokanee brewery and getting a plant tour. 10 min later We are on our way to Creston. We left at about 9:30pm and got there in the morning around 9:00 alberta time, we went for breakfast and then to the plant. Upon arriving the gates are open but the sign says tours are closed until May. Shit 1000km for nothing, but we see some employee come out the door so we ask him if he could give us a tour seeing as we drove 1000km for it. He asks his boss and they give us a personalized tour of the brewery. I've been on a tour there before and this one was sweet because he showed us every inch of the plant. So after our tour I suggest crusing down to Bonners Ferry Idaho to check things out, after some gambling and crusing we start heading home. We came up through Banff and spent some time there and then straight home through Calgary. Just past Red Deer my friend was driving my car doing 130km + on HWY 2 and gets busted. He got a $98 fine. Ouch. It was tons of fun although tiring, anybody else ever do this? 2000km is my longest road trip yet, just out of the blue that is. :)

I've offered to drive to calgary for pete's just for lunch but no one ever wants to go... even when I'm starting on calg. trail south... they're like "calgary is too far" and i'm like "damn! we don't have to go if i have to put up w/ your whinning!"
Maybe next time i'll leave em on calg trail south :) |

I'm always up for a good road trip. I was tired as hell coming back, mostly because I only slept for 11 hours out of 6 days. And 8 of it was in one sleep, but thats a hole differenrt story.
